Last updated: February 17, 2026
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you and Outer Gods (Bern, Switzerland) for the Sanic Boom desktop application (“Software”).
1. License Grant
Upon purchase, Outer Gods grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, single-user license to install and use the Software on any number of computers, provided that you are the sole user. This license is non-transferable and may not be shared, sublicensed, or assigned to any other person.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Modify or create derivative works based on the Software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
3. License Verification
The Software requires a periodic internet connection to verify your license. The verification process sends only your session token to our server — no usage data or telemetry is transmitted. If the Software cannot verify your license, functionality may be restricted until verification succeeds.
4. Updates
Updates to the Software are included at no additional cost. Outer Gods may release updates at its discretion. You are not obligated to install updates, but some features may require the latest version.
5. Intellectual Property
The Software and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by Outer Gods. This EULA does not grant you any ownership rights in the Software. Content you create using the Software belongs to you.
6. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Outer Gods does not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Outer Gods be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Software, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability, even if Outer Gods has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Outer Gods' total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
9. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from this EULA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bern, Switzerland.
